📜 Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Shadikey. By accessing or using the Shadikey platform — including our website, mobile application, and all related services — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," "your") and Shadikey Technologies Private Limited ("Shadikey," "we," "us," "our").

✅ Eligibility

To use Shadikey, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a citizen or resident of India (or as permitted by our service coverage)
• You must not be legally prohibited from entering into a binding contract
• You must not have been previously banned or suspended from Shadikey
• You must have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification
• You must not be currently married or in a legally binding relationship (unless widowed, divorced, or separated as disclosed in your profile)

By using Shadikey, you represent and warrant that you meet all the above eligibility requirements.

👤 Your Account

Account Creation

To access Shadikey's full features, you must register an account using your mobile number. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, truthful, and complete information
• Keeping your account information up to date
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and tokens
• All activities that occur under your account

Profile Accuracy

You must ensure your profile information is honest and accurate. Providing false information — including fake photos, incorrect age, fabricated education or profession — is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension.

One Account Per Person

You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts, whether to circumvent a ban or for any other reason, is strictly prohibited.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@shadikey.in.

🚫 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using Shadikey:

• Creating a false identity or impersonating any person or entity
• Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information in your profile
• Using the platform for any commercial solicitation or advertising
• Harassing, threatening, abusing, or intimidating other users
• Sending unsolicited messages, spam, or bulk communications
• Sharing or soliciting explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempting to extract personal contact information against users' consent
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the platform
• Attempting to hack, compromise, or disrupt the platform's security
• Collecting user data for unauthorized purposes
• Using Shadikey for anything other than its intended matrimonial purpose
• Engaging in fraud, scams, or financial manipulation of other users
• Promoting violence, hate speech, or discrimination
• Violating any applicable Indian or international laws

📸 Content Policy

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Shadikey (photos, bio, profile information). By submitting content, you grant Shadikey a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

Content Standards

All profile photos and information must comply with our content standards:

• Photos must be recent, clear, and genuinely represent you
• Photos must not contain explicit, sexual, or offensive content
• Photos must not include minors without appropriate context
• Profile information must be truthful and not misleading
• Content must not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights

Content Moderation

Shadikey reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice. Repeated violations will result in account termination.

💳 Subscriptions & Payments

Free Plan

Shadikey offers a free tier with limited features including 10 swipes per day, profile setup, and basic matching.

Premium Plans

Premium plans are offered on a monthly or quarterly basis. By subscribing to a premium plan, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fee as displayed at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions are charged in Indian Rupees (INR)
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways
• Subscription benefits activate immediately upon successful payment

Renewal & Cancellation

Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless you explicitly enable auto-renewal. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund Policy

For refund-related matters, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy. All refund requests are subject to review and our refund eligibility criteria.

⚖️ Disclaimer of Warranties

Shadikey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Any specific matches or connections will result from using our service
• All profiles are genuine or all information provided by users is accurate
• The platform will meet your specific requirements or expectations

Shadikey facilitates connections between registered users but is not responsible for the authenticity of user-provided information, the conduct of users off-platform, or the outcome of relationships formed through the platform.

🛡️ Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shadikey Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the platform
• Damages arising from interactions with other users
• Unauthorized access to your account due to your own negligence
• Technical failures, downtime, or data loss beyond our control

Our total aggregate liability for any claims related to the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Shadikey in the 3 months preceding the claim.

🔚 Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the Delete Account feature in the app or by contacting our support team.

Termination by Shadikey

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without notice, if we determine that you have:

• Violated any of these Terms
• Engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
• Created fake or misleading profiles
• Harassed or threatened other users
• Engaged in any illegal activity through the platform

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Your profile will be hidden from other users. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

⚖️ Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically:

• Information Technology Act, 2000
• Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008
• Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
• Consumer Protection Act, 2019

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Before pursuing legal action, we encourage you to contact our support team. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and within 30 days of notification.
