Account Deletion

Before You Delete

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone after 30 days. Please review the information below carefully.

💡 Consider These Alternatives

  • Taking a break? You can deactivate your profile temporarily — it won't appear in searches but your data is safe
  • Too many notifications? Adjust your notification settings in Account → Notifications
  • Privacy concern? Update your visibility settings to control who can see your profile
  • Billing issue? Contact us at billing@shadikey.in before deleting
  • Got matched? Congratulations! You can pause your account instead of deleting

What Happens When You Delete

🔴 Your profile is immediately hidden from all other users
🔴 All matches, likes, and conversations are removed
🔴 Active subscriptions are cancelled without refund
🟡 Account can be restored within 30 days of deletion
🔴 After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly erased
🔴 You will need to register again from scratch if you return

How Account Deletion Works

OTP Verification — We'll verify your identity via OTP to your registered number

Immediate action — Profile hidden from searches instantly upon confirmation

30-day grace period — You can restore your account within 30 days

Permanent deletion — After 30 days, all data is permanently erased from our servers

This action will begin the account deletion process. Your data will be permanently removed after 30 days.

All your profile data, photos, matches, and subscription history will be permanently deleted. This cannot be undone once the 30-day grace period expires.

After submitting, you'll receive an OTP on your registered mobile to confirm deletion. Your account will remain active for 30 days, during which you can restore it anytime.
